It voted for the Health and Environment Committee in Parliament, unanimously approved the conversion of the former Ministry of Environment to an independent body.
The Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, has decided within his reform program, launched since August 2015 on the feminine and merging ministries, including the Ministry of Environment, which has been merged with the Ministry of Health.
According to a statement of the Department of Media Parliamentary "The committee headed by MP Qutaiba al-Jubouri, [former Minister of Environment] Chairman of the Committee was held in the presence of a number of its members on Sunday, a meeting where the laws of health, environmental and actually projects examined, as well as frequent fires and events in some health institutions."
