[ltr]Said French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Odrian, Tuesday, that his country has sent artillery pieces to the Iraqi army in preparation for an attack on the city of Mosul, which are subject to regulation Daesh since 2014.[/ltr]
[ltr]The minister said at the conclusion of the forum on defense in Paris "We decided to provide more support to Iraqi forces this autumn with the aim of restoring Mosul."[/ltr]
[ltr]"We are currently concentrating artillery pieces near the front line to provide an accurate attribution to the Iraqis."[/ltr]
[ltr]He said the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle prepares to sail in the third task against extremist organization since January 2015 and will enhance the aircraft 12 aircraft carrier stationed in Jordan and the UAE French launcher since the end of 2014.[/ltr]
[ltr]President Francois Hollande announced in July to send artillery pieces of the Iraqi army in addition to the French military advisers to deal with these pieces.[/ltr]
[ltr]France provides the same support to the Peshmerga forces since the summer of 2014.[/ltr]
[ltr]The Hollande also said then send carrier Charles de Gaulle end of September in order to intensify the strikes of the international coalition in Iraq and Syria.[/ltr]
