[rtl]Said Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kortolmos, on Wednesday, the President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani, K request the presence of Turkish troops in northern Iraq to train local fighters, adding that the Turkish military presence in Iraq is aimed at achieving stability at a time when the country is witnessing a severe split.[/rtl]
 
 
[rtl]The deputy prime minister said, according to Reuters and seen by "Sky Press," that "the Turkish military presence in Iraq is aimed at achieving stability in a time when the country is deeply divided and that Turkey does not seek to become a force[/rtl]
[rtl]occupation".[/rtl]
 
[rtl]"The Turkish troops were in the camp Ba'shiqah Iraq at the request of Massoud Barzani, president of Iraq's Kurdistan region to train local forces," noting that "Turkey will not allow it to bring it into this discussion."[/rtl]
 
[rtl]They exchanged Turkey and Iraq call their ambassadors in an escalating diplomatic standoff after Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi Ankara warned it risked igniting "regional war" to keep its troops in Iraqi territory.[/rtl]
