Get Ready For The Cuties Of The Week!

1. This corgi went for a cruise in the sunshine.

2. This cat showed off her magnificent whiskers.

3. And finally, this puppy proved that he's the coolest pooch on the block.

Loved picture of the cat with whiskers   (loved the whikers).

When I was a little girl (prob 5 yrs old) my parents neighbors' mother cat had a batch of kittens.
The neighbors broight over (in a little blanket) a kitten and they said this was for me.
And they handed me this little furry bundle and of course I instantly loved the kitten.

LOL! (knowing now) The last thing my parents needed was a dern cat!

Anyway, my cat had a set of long whiskers that would make a violin jealous.
It was a smart cat - big bright eys and seemed to know what was going on in the
household by listening and watching family postures.

I played with my cat and loved to tease him by stroking his long whiskers -- he didn't
especially like it and would turn away from me or slap his tail.
(Hey I was 5 years old)  I wouldn't do that now.
Now I wish I had taken a picture of 'Buddys' whiskers.

It has been recorded that both dogs and cats have shown inteligence in allerting family
members of a fire in the home.

Lover of animals.
