[ltr]The United States announced welcomed the announcement of the start of the process of freeing the city of Mosul, while the United Nations expressed Moscow's concern about civilian casualties.[/ltr]
[ltr]In Washington, US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter said that a decisive moment in the Mosul attack Iraq campaign to inflict a "permanent defeat" organized Daesh.[/ltr]
[ltr]He stressed that the United States and other coalition countries stand ready to support the Iraqi security forces and the peshmerga fighters in the "next tough battle."[/ltr]
[ltr]"We are confident that our Iraqi partners will defeat our common enemy and liberate Mosul and the rest of Iraq from a brutal runner Daesh."[/ltr]
[ltr]US Vice Foreign Minister Anthony Blinken also welcomed the launching of the restoration of the connector from the grip of the terrorist organization Daesh process.[/ltr]
[ltr]In Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin has called on the United States and France, to move cautiously, through the liberalization of Mosul operations, to reduce civilian casualties.[/ltr]
[ltr]The state news agency Tass, for Putin to say that he hoped the Americans and the French partners, to act selectively, and work to reduce civilian casualties in Mosul.[/ltr]
[ltr]For its part the United Nations expressed its deep concern about the fate of the 1.5 million civilians in Mosul.[/ltr]
[ltr]Said Stephen O'Brien, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief "I am deeply concerned about the safety of some 1.5 million people living in Mosul might be affected as a result of military operations (aimed) to restore the city of Daesh."[/ltr]
[ltr]"The families are at serious risk" because they may find themselves the victim of "a crossfire or targeted by snipers," he said.[/ltr]
[ltr]The representative of the US president in the international coalition against al Daesh, Brett Macgork, said in a tweet on Twitter at the beginning of an attack of Mosul, "We are proud to stand with you in this historic process," .anthy 29 / A 43[/ltr]
