He Huellet at a press conference held by the House and attended by Alsumaria News, "we were surprised by the responses of media feedback and some political figures regarding the adoption of private imports of municipal law, which includes a ban on the sale of alcohol," explaining that "the image reactions reflected to the world that Iraqis abusers liquor people broadly, this is unlike reality because the vast majority of the Iraqi people are committed to religious legislation, which forbids drinking alcohol. "

He added, "We are surprised more than the existence of some of the characters within the Parliament embrace the divine religions condemn this law, even though the religion forbids alcohol abuse," adding that "talking about the constitutionality of the law or not, we believe the constitutionality of this legislation because the constitution identified that the legislation of laws are in accordance with the Islamic legislation. "
Huellet He continued, "As for pleading a personal freedoms, the Islam and other religions foster personal freedoms with the principle of prohibition."
The MP for the Bloc Rivers said, on Sunday, the parliamentary vote on the paragraph import and production of alcoholic beverages ban "unconstitutional", warning of the spread of drug-migration of people of the country and international isolation on Iraq by the law.
