Amman/ Iraq TradeLink: Jordanian tourism company announced the formation of an investment
The new consortium is expected to start with tourism, industrial, agricultural and trade projects in Kurdistan, Chairman of Nabdh al-Urdun Company for Tourism Nawfal al-Khasawna stated.
He added that the first preparations were made to make a comprehensive Chinese fair in the region, with expectations that more than one thousand Chinese companies will participate in the fair.
Earlier, Kurdish Premier Njirvan Barzani announced that his government plans to have tourism, agriculture and industry another source of revenues, in addition to oil sector.
Informed sources said that the Kurdish tourism got in 2013 more than 6 billion dollars, but this sector was declined due to the war against Da'ish (ISIS) organization and the financial crisis in the region.
