This cocktail is a triple threat: the gin is infused with chile, shaken with our jalapeño-infused cocktail mixer, and garnished with a slice of fresh chile. The cucumber adds a cooling note to the potent mixture.

    Ingredients:

    • 6 fl. oz. (180 ml) gin
    • 1 chile de árbol
    • 1/4 English cucumber, thinly sliced into rounds
    • Ice as needed
    • 12 fl. oz.(375 ml) Jalapeño-Lime Cocktail Mixer
    • Soda water as needed
    • 1 jalapeño, thinly sliced into rounds

    Directions:

In an infusing jar, combine the gin, chile de árbol and cucumber. Cover and shake for 15 to 20 seconds, then let sit for at least 2 hours and up to 24 hours. Strain the gin into a small pitcher.

Fill a cocktail shaker and four double old-fashioned glasses or tumblers with ice. Add the gin and jalapeño-lime mixer to the cocktail shaker and shake. Strain the cocktail into the 4 glasses and top each with a splash of soda water. Garnish each drink with a few jalapeño slices and serve immediately. Serves 4.
