Shafaq News / The Ministry of Industry and Minerals on Monday for obtaining the decisions of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers for the protection of 50 locally produced, while those affected by harmful business practices of local producers called for a review of the development department and industrial organization in the ministry for the purpose of making requests to protect their products.

He pointed out that the issuance of the protection of Iraqi products Law No. (11) for the year 2010 was for the purpose of protecting Iraqi products from the increase is justified in imports and foreign dumping goods and government support of foreign of goods overseas, adding that the protection of Iraqi products and the law of customs tariff law No. (22) for 2010 and instructions granting of import licenses and the work of the Central Organization for Standardization and quality control and other health authorities viewfinder imported goods make up an integrated national system for the protection of national production integrated with the work of consumer protection and competition law and antitrust law.
