    Dhi Qar Government confirms decrease of traffic accidents during 2016

" 
    Yassin said that "2015 saw a record 922 traffic accidents, a total of victims amounted to 1470 people, of which 316 people were killed and 1154 injured , " noting that " the decline in the number of victims accounted for 30%, and traffic accidents by about 20%." 
    He attributed the Dhi Qar traffic manager, reduced the victims of traffic accidents to the "traffic awareness campaigns and set up radars and surveillance cameras on Alkharahih road link between Nasiriya - Baghdad and Nasiriya - Basra and Nasiriya - Cote , " pointing out that " the Directorate spotted four thousand and 305 caused by traffic violations high - speed, during 2016, through surveillance cameras. " 
    Yassin said that " the most horrific traffic accidents that result in loss of life and property caused by the coup and collisions that occur on the Highway , " and continued that " the victims of accidents and run over by a collision within a few cities and towns." 
    For their part , called on the citizens to address the problem of repeat traffic accidents on the roads , which is called the naming some of them (by death).

" 
    He said Aldechala, that " the number of victims of traffic accidents is still a significant and requires a serious stand by the local and federal governments , " calling on the federal government to "customize the collection of funds and a portion of the imports of traffic fines and fees to complete lagging roads to maintain." 
    The first deputy governor of Dhi Qar, that " the amount of fines and traffic on the roads to maintain approximately one billion and 800 million dinars , " stressing the importance of "complete the work of the second corridor of the international road link between the provinces of Baghdad , Dhi Qar and furnishing of streets and roads and traffic signs to reduce mishaps" .
