Vatican ambassador to Iraq: the task of leveling the international community's initiative and hope their success

Ambassador stressed the Vatican in Iraq Alberto Ortega, on Thursday, the importance of the settlement initiative put forward by the National Alliance for the international community, expressing hope the success of this initiative, as called for religious leaders to play a role in the settlement to achieve security and stability in Iraq.

Ortega said during a news conference in Baghdad attended by Alsumaria News, "I am delighted to declare the settlement initiative and present them to the international community tonight," noting that "the settlement belong to all Iraqis, but on the same level is very important for the international community."
He added that "national reconciliation has a large role played by religious leaders to achieve security and stability in Iraq, and does not claim to be elements of violence," expressing his hope to "the success of the efforts of all those who call for a settlement."
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Haider al - Abadi said, in (17 December 2016), that a political settlement will be a new beginning to end "conflicts" after thecompletion of " Daesh ."
