What we Do and Don’t Know!

It is unreasonable for the continuance of wasting Iraqi blood and destruction of property that we have seen over the past 24 days while the Government lightly addresses with frivolity and appears along with Parliament are submissive to the will of terrorists and also shows indifference to what is going on and that it is not concerned with the fate of the citizen.

The French Press reported yesterday that more than 330 people died during the last two weeks since the first the July which means the death toll could exceed the 750 should it continue. Similarly, last month Iraq suffered the loss of 761 souls during June thus maintaining a trend pointing to factual data that 2500 people are now dead after just three months, according to data from the United Nations, not data from our government, which have abstained from providing such stats with real numbers of the dead and the injured along with the loss in the value of the property and funds during this devastation. It indicates to the Iraqi citizen that there is a strong sign of the government’s indifference to the plight of its citizens on this level.

Since last year terror has returned to Iraq and has gotten out of control despite repeated statements from the Chairman of the Board Minister and Commander-General of the of the Armed Forces threatening the perpetrators responsible terrorist and despite the photographs for the purposes of propaganda to the Senior Deputy of the Ministry of the Interior.

We know there continues to be to terrorism and we know who is aggravating.. We know that the quota system adheres to the political elite that own the window of power, which is the Islamic Dawa Party Ruler and those in his leadership... We know there is financial and administrative corruption rampant in within the organs of the State are fully aware under the auspices of their elite position by relationship to the head of the Dawa Party, the Ruler and the his leaderships…We know the chickened Council of the House of Representatives does not fulfill its duty in the surveillance and of accounting of the government... We know the Judicial Authority has failed as an independent body with Integrity and a propensity for human rights, in particular to the application of these principles, which is supposed govern the will of the government but has remained the silent on what I have uncovered.

But we don't know: Why don’t our armed forces, army, police and other security agencies protect us, the Citizen?

We do not know also why our Government wants to spend billions on military, police and on weaponry. Why make billions in trades to buy weapons and military equipment, while Iraqi’s are suffering, as well as why there is lawlessness, deterioration of public services as a whole of electricity, water, cleanliness, housing, transport, health, education and others?

And also we don’t know: Why they have said they want to achieve national reconciliation and spending enormous amounts of money only to not have realized it by now?

And we don’t know too well: Why our Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces flaunts with his senior aides and officials of the ministries of Defense, Interior and National security not telling us the truth about what is really going on only to realize that he has an ulterior motive

Last, but not least, we don't know: Why does the House of Representatives balk in its role of monitoring and accountability? How do they justify the existence of their huge salaries and allowances of members even after the expiration of their service (If they no longer are in their position are they still provided a service to the government? ), especially if Parliament does not monitor and hold them accountable? .. Why are they unable to break the yoke of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Security Officials and bring him to the Dome of Parliament to be held accountable for the actions of his government and his corrupt accounting. In most countries where Parliaments exist - Do they allow Governments to run rampant without respecting their mandates?
