[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Arab MPs of Kirkuk warned from regional agendas being plotted to target the Arab component of the province.[/ltr]
[ltr]MP Omar al-Jubouri said in a press conference he held with participation of some Arab MPs from Kirkuk on Thursday “There are regional plots being set to target the Arab community in Kirkuk , so we call not to cancel the legal legislations related to preserving the Iraqi identity of Kirkuk.”[/ltr]
[ltr]Jubouri called the parliament chairmanship to set and endorse Kirkuk local elections law.[/ltr]
[ltr]“The Arabs in Kirkuk are the victims of the terrorist operations where 30 persons were killed due to bombings in a cafe without any step taken by the local government in the province to compensate the victims’ families, hence we call to from security force to protect the Arab areas in the province,” he added.[/ltr]
