Egypt expressed willingness to cooperate in increasing trade exchange with Iraq rates.
The Minister of Public Business Sector Masri, Ashraf Sharqawi, his country's keenness to enhance the prospects of joint cooperation between Egypt and Iraq in all fields, especially the economic sphere and increase trade exchange rates in order to serve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
The Egyptian minister stressed during his meeting with the Iraqi ambassador in Cairo, Habib al-Sadr presence Jabr Iraq's commercial attaché in Cairo Haidar Nouri, "Egypt's readiness to provide all support for the Iraqi economy, as well as the readiness of the Ministry of public business sector to participate in investment projects in Iraq through the best use of the expertise in the areas of corporate variety, and private contracting and construction companies that implement projects in a number of Arab countries".
Sharqawi to noted "the importance of the Iraqi market as a destination for Egyptian exports, and in light of what the Egyptian products enjoyed especially products public sector companies of high quality and great competitive advantages," stressing that "seek to remove any obstacles facing trade relations between the two brotherly countries".
Egyptian Minister reviewed during the meeting, "the various activities of the subsidiaries of the Ministry and its products," pointing to "hold intensive meetings with officials of those companies during the coming period to discuss further cooperation with the Iraqi side".
For his part, Iraq's ambassador in Cairo, confirmed that "the political leadership in Iraq believes that the economic openness to Egypt is a strategic choice," noting that "the Iraqi embassy sought to put these aspirations into practice".
The ambassador also expressed the desire of the Iraqi side to benefit from the expertise of the public business sector of the Egyptian companies and private construction and contracting, chemical industries and, as well as meet the needs of the Iraqi people from the medication, "pointing to" the establishment of a new exhibition for Egyptian products in Iraq in the coming period".
