Michael Flynn resigned as US President Donald Trump's national security adviser late Monday amid controversy over whether he had discussed the possibility of lifting of US sanctions against Russia before assuming power Trump.
Flynn gave his resignation came hours after Trump, through a spokesman, it was reviewing the situation and talking with the vice president Mike Pence.
