The bank said in a research note Friday, said its estimates indicate a rise in gold prices to $ 1400 per ounce year-end 2017, mainly supported by the uncertainty surrounding the elections in Europe's economic policies in the United States and Britain.
He said the bank: "The market is still currently ignoring the large and growing surrounding the American and British political scene and the changes of the risks that may be revealed in the next election tours in Europe."
By the time 11:00 GMT, gold prices in the spot contract fell by 0.36%, at $ 1196.94 an ounce.
And gold futures dropped by 0.55% at a price of $ 1196.6 per ounce.
