Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, praised the initiative of the Citizen bloc members of giving up their retirement salaries.
He said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com “I thank the Citizen bloc members for this initiative and I urge other sides to follow this step.”
Earlier, members of Citizen bloc signed an official document expressing their resolution to neglect their retirement salaries and they submitted the document to the head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council.
