Joint military exercises between Seoul and Washington

Seoul and Washington began naval exercises on a large scale with the participation of the aircraft carrier "Carl Feinsn" as part of the joint exercises deterrence annual amid rising tensions on the Korean peninsula.
It quoted local media sources for the South Korean Navy as saying on Sunday that "in the framework of exercise Foal Eagle, there will be joint naval exercises until next Saturday to prepare for any potential Astfsazat from the north in the waters around the Korean peninsula, and next to Carl Feinsn, the destroyer Seweh Ryu Seung - Ryong as well as 60 ships and submarines of the two countries will participate in the maneuvers. "
The US aircraft nuclear-powered carrier has reached the port city of Busan in South Korea on Wednesday to participate in the exercises "Foal Eagle" ongoing bilateral that will last until the end of April / May next year.
