Rest in His ability. Empty Rest in His ability.

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” Ephesians 3:20

You don’t have it all together, but God does. You don’t know everything, but God does. You can’t change anyone’s life, but God can. Focus not on what you can do, but on what God can do. Rest in His ability.

God has the supernatural ability to help you when you are being tempted (see Hebrews 2:18). He is able to help you stand when you’ve fallen (see Romans 14:4). He is able to save you completely (see Hebrews 7:25). He is able to make all grace abound toward you (see 2 Corinthians 9:8). He is able to make a way out of no way for you (see Isaiah 43:15-16).

You see how the burden lifts when you focus on God and His ability?

A wonderful reminder of where we really are, when we think we can do it alone...
