    Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi on Tuesday discussed lifting obstacles to the entry of US companies to invest in Iraq.
    "Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi met US Trade Secretary Wilbur Ross during his visit to the United States of America. The meeting discussed boosting trade cooperation between the two countries and increasing investment by US companies," Abadi said in a statement.
    He pointed out that "the meeting also discussed the lifting of obstacles to the entry of US companies and a number of topics that serve to strengthen bilateral relations."
    Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi met with US President Donald Trump yesterday and discussed bilateral relations and support for Iraq in the war against Da'ash.
