European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mujerini reiterated the EU's readiness to support Iraq, restore its stability and train its security forces, while Canadian Foreign Minister Christia Freeland announced that her country would send specialized teams to help Iraqi industry.
This came during Abadi's meeting with the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mujerini, and Canada's Foreign Minister, Kristia Freeland.
Mougereini congratulated the victories on Dahesh and declared "the readiness of the European Union to support Iraq in demining, restoring stability, supporting reform, training the police and sending a team to see the priorities of the Iraqi government to accelerate support."
Prime Minister Dr. Haider Abadi met on Wednesday in Washington with Canada's Foreign Minister, Kristia Freeland.
In a statement received by Mawazine News, the minister hailed "the victories achieved by the Iraqi forces against terrorism," stressing that "her country's support for Iraq in its war against terrorism and other areas.
"They will send specialized teams to help the Iraqi industry," she said.
The work of the meeting of the international coalition to fight the "terrorist" organization has started today in Washington with the participation of foreign ministers of 68 countries.
