Plans to the US Department of Defense (Pentagon), sending additional troops to the Middle East, in response to a request from the leadership of the International Alliance Against "Daesh" in Baghdad.
According to the channel "Russia Today" that "the Pentagon is sending 200 soldiers of paratroopers from the unit 82, it did not explain the US Department of Defense whether these troops will be stationed in Iraq or in Syria."
As stated by the Pentagon, "the decision to send them to Syria or Iraq taken by the commander of the international coalition forces in Iraq, Steven Townsend."
The United States deployed in Syria about 400 additional troops, as military forces deployed in Iraq to help fight Daesh.
