Iraq reiterate rejecting US bases

Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Iraqi foreign minister Ibrahim al-Jaffari re-iterated rejection of establish
US bases or any ground forces on the Iraqi soil.
In a statement to Saudi al-Sharq al-Awsat daily he pointed "reservations" on the presence of US ground forces in Iraq, "but we accept advisors only", he pointed out.
He added that "during Washington's talks we pointed out that the Strategic Framework Agreement where the Americans promised to continue supporting Iraq".
On the other hand, he described Amman Arab Summit as "positive, but needs follow-up for implementation", stressing the necessity to support the Arab League|".
