An economic expert: Saudi Arabia will fall on Iraq debt
He expected an economic expert peace Sumaisem, that Saudi Arabia is to bring down the debt owed by Iraq in the coming period, according to the announcement by the Saudi government, while suggesting that those amounts was a grant and not a debt.
Sumaisem said in a press interview, the real debt owed by Iraq amounted to $ 120 billion, according to Adel Abdul Mahdi, announced two days ago at a global conference, indicating that these types of debt, including government and private entities, as well as for accumulations and sanctions.
She said, we are talking today about the Saudi debt and the possibility of bringing it down from Iraq by the ongoing diplomatic pressure, noting that out of those debts was a grant and turned into debt because of the previous regime to enter Kuwait.
He noted that the lifting of the debt would have a good effect as well as for the debts of Kuwait.
