    Alsumaria News / Baghdad
through members of Congress , Republicans and Democrats expressed their support for the decision of Donald Trump hit the Syrian air base, but a number of them called for the US president to clarify his strategy.

The head of the House Republican Paul Ryan that "this is a good move and true." "These tactical strikes show the system (Syrian President Bashar ) Assad that he could no longer count on the American paralysis when he committed atrocities against the Syrian people."

And saw the leader of the Democrats in the Senate , Chuck Schumer said , "Assad Tdwia a price when committing such atrocities is good." But he added that "Trump administration should adopt a strategy and consult Congress before they are applied."

And adopted other members of Congress in similar positions, expressing satisfaction with the rapid response of the United States on a "chemical attack" on the town of Khan Sheikhun that left 86 people dead and hundreds injured Tuesday.

Senator John McCain , who supported years ago an American intervention strong, he welcomes this "first stage credible", but called for the adoption of a new strategy to end the Syrian conflict.

He said the former presidential candidate , said " the first move in a strategy of this kind will be directed by the Air Force for Assad (...) of the entire battle."

He called his colleague Marco Rubio also to adopt a strategy to prevent "Russia from the Syrian regime to support freely."

But a large number of parliamentarians questioned the issue of consent to the use of force, as happened when former President Barack Obama 's face strikes in Syria and Iraq against the organization of the Islamic state in 2014 N. before obtaining the approval of Congress. It justified the Obama administration strikes then on the basis of a resolution adopted after the attacks of September 11 , 2001.

Through Democratic Senator Chris Coons expressed "concern" of the US move against the Syrian regime without a real strategy, saying that " the moves decided by the president raise questions than provide answers ".

The alliance of parliamentarians began anti-war Democrats and Republicans isolationists formed as happened during the discussions that took place in September 2013 when Obama was intended to strike a blow to Syria, and then dropped because of the approval of the Syrian regime to dismantle its chemical arsenal.

He said Sen. Rand Paul "condemn the atrocities in Syria, but the United States has not come under attack." "The president must obtain congressional approval for any military action, as provided by the Constitution."

Said Democrat Ted Liu defiant "Congress has allowed the president to resort to force against the terrorists. We did not allow the use of force to enforce conventions on chemical weapons."

Congress begins Friday a two-week holiday.
