    [ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Hassan Jihad, member of the parliament Security & Defense Committee attributed the intensified security measures around the Green Zone which comprises the government buildings in Baghdad, to prevent any expected danger especially after the escape of prisoners.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The Green Zone and the adjacent areas are witnessing for serveral days tightened security measures represented by intensifying the deployment of checkpoints and blocking some bridges leading to the Zone.[/ltr]

    [ltr]Jihad said “After the escape of prisoners, a clear security deterioration happened, so these measures are necessary to protect the Green Zone from any possible danger.”[/ltr]
    [ltr]“Qaeda organization has deceptive manners and surprise acts against the security forces such as launching bombings and murders by silenced weapons from time to time,” he added.[/ltr]
    [ltr]He called the security forces to adopt surprise operations against the armed groups and impose curfew especially after the escape of prisoners.[/ltr]
