Iraqi Central Bank announced on Thursday, rising sales of banks compared to last year to four billion dollars.
The bank said in a statement received by Alsumaria News, a copy of it, "The sales of the dollar banks reached since the beginning of this year until today 12 billion and 800 000 257 thousand and $ 367."
The bank added that "this amount increased from what it was on the same date last year 2016 which amounted to sales of four billion and 861 million and 582 thousand, and $ 152."
The Bank noted that "the sale of amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad and the cash price is 1190 dinars per dollar."
The governor of the central bank on the Keywords announced in the third of March 2015 that the auction is no longer a daily window to sell the currency, referring to the development of new mechanisms for this process, as he emphasized that the functions of the auction provide currency for foreign trade.
