Parliamentary: There is almost unanimous to postpone the provincial elections until April 2018
BAGHDAD, April 16 (Xinhua) - The parliamentary legal committee revealed on Sunday that "there is almost an agreement between the political blocs to postpone the provincial elections and their elections in April 2018 with the parliamentary elections."
"The will is within the parliament to merge the elections while the final draft of the provincial elections law is being prepared," she said, noting that "it is impossible to hold provincial council elections as scheduled by the Council of Ministers in September 2017."
