    Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, Iraq sought to establish better relations with all neighboring countries.
    According to a ministry statement obtained "direction Press" a copy of it, "al-Jaafari received a copy of the credentials of the new Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad Iraj Masjedi papers were reviewed relations between Baghdad and Tehran and ways of boosting them in the interests of the two neighboring countries.".
    Jaafari expressed "readiness of the State Department to provide the necessary support for the diplomatic mission to increase the volume of cooperation and coordination in various fields," he expressed his "thanks and appreciation to Iran for humanitarian support and service and security in the face of terrorist Daesh gangs."
    He pointed to "the depth of the existing bilateral relations and friendship on the basis of historical and geographical facts and common interests and risks that combine between Baghdad and Tehran," calling for "the need to continue the technical committees between the two countries to address the problem of water and common rivers that caused the increase of salinity in southern Iraq file.".
    He said al-Jaafari said "Iraq is seeking to establish better relations with neighbors of all countries and build bridges of cooperation and restore security and stability to the region and make further efforts to enhance joint coordination between the two countries in all fields," adding that "Iraq is passing through exceptional circumstances is the security challenge and the war against Daesh gangs terrorist and economic challenge as a result of lower oil prices, so called for the world all his support to overcome its current crisis. Iran has been at the forefront of friendly countries that supported Iraq in its war against terrorists Daesh.. "
    For his part, the new Iranian ambassador in Baghdad, his country's keenness Iraj Masjedi to raise the level of relations and promote joint cooperation to serve the interests of the two countries, pointing out that he would do what he could to activate common interests in all fields.
