In an interview with Britain's Guardian newspaper, Tayani said that if London wanted to withdraw its decision, the measures would be clear and it would not even be necessary to go back to the judiciary.
"All EU member states will be pleased that Britain will stay in the EU if it decides," he said. Parallel to this, the President of the European Parliament threatened to block any deal for the departure of Britain in the event that it did not guarantee respect for the rights of EU citizens in the British territory in full.
On 18 April, British Prime Minister Teresa Mae called for early legislative elections on June 8, justifying the need for a "strong parliament and government" to meet the challenges of exiting the EU. In the context of the election campaign, May aims to end the free access of individuals from EU countries to the UK.
According to official statistics, there are about 3 million European citizens living in Britain, with about 1 million Britons residing in different EU countries
