He explained that the aim of the festival is to deliver a message to the world that Iraq rejects the culture of violence by spreading a culture of flowers and beauty, seeing the civilized face of the capital , which was and still is the land of peace, glittering important cultural events that reflect the human face and aesthetic of Baghdad, as well as the exchange of experiences between Iraq and the countries and foreign companies and Arab participation, in addition to the possibility of importing flowers fit with the Iraqi airspace, as well as the export of Iraqi flowers produced out of the country.
He stressed that the celebration includes the establishment of the activities of several of them Volklorah and cultural, to return to the generations memory of the past and paint the fact of the old Baghdad image, accompanied by links and breaks lyrical sing love the homeland, as well as addressing the importance of planting seedlings and flowers because of their impact aesthetic and myself on the citizen Baghdadi.
Between Abdul Zahra said the festival , which lasts for four days will offer all kinds of flowers and plants in front of visitors locally produced or imported from outside the country through the wings of each participant.
He added that previous sessions of the festival saw the delivery of several messages to the world that Iraq is a country of peace and security, despite the fierce attacks by the media tendentious portrayed Iraq as a war zone, so were the festivals talk through the flowers from the other face of Iraq as a country of reconstruction and prosperity.
The Secretariat has announced the start of the arrival of Arab and foreign delegations invited to participate in the festival , including the Secretary General of the Arab Towns Organization Ahmad Hamad Sabih and Secretary of Municipality (Iowa , US) with the delegations of the municipalities of the Caspian Iran, Tunisia, the Netherlands, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon and Sudan, as well as extending invitations to all ministers and heads of diplomatic bodies and organizations to attend the opening ceremony.
