Iran launched, the largest refinery gas (LNG) in the world under the name of "the curtain of the Persian Gulf" to achieve this self-sufficiency in this area.
President Rowhani expressed at the ceremony for Tbrike by the National Day of the Persian Gulf and the happiness of accomplishment achieved through self-sufficiency in the field of gasoline, and pointed out that through the opening of the first phase of the refinery, "the curtain of the Persian Gulf" (Star Persian Gulf) LNG, the country has achieved self-qualified in this area.
She described the incident in Bandar Abbas refinery south as one of the largest in the world, and Tmanchaaha based on purely Iranian experiences.
With the new refinery LNG operation in full production of gasoline will be the size of 36 million liters of € 4 standards, and therefore it would be gasoline production in the country of 100 million liters per day and the size will help the possibility of exporting this material outside the country.
Iran currently produces about 64 million liters of fuel per day and imports 12 million to meet the needs of domestic consumption.
