Death toll rises attack targeted "foreign forces" in Kabul

increased the death toll from the blast , which occurred near the US embassy in the Afghan capital , Kabul, on Wednesday, to 8 dead and 25 wounded , including two American soldiers.
The news agency "Agence France Presse" for Afghan officials as saying that the blast targeted a convoy of international troops near the US Embassy in Kabul.
The spokesman for the Interior Ministry, Najib Danesh, that the attack "targeted a convoy of foreign forces was passing" in the region, noting that the majority of the victims were civilians.
The initial statistical spoke earlier about the occurrence of 3 dead and 15 wounded.
And an Afghan security source said that the attack was carried out by "car bomb" targeting "an American convoy was on patrol near the embassy and the General Headquarters" of the NATO forces in Afghanistan.
