    Twilight News / The new strategy calls for US President Donald Trump in the fight against terrorism to bear the allies of the United States more of the burden in the fight against Islamist militants , while recognizing that the threat of terrorism will not be eradicated completely.
    The draft strategy , consisting of 11 pages cited by the Reuters news agency that the United States should avoid "open" costly military commitments.
    According to the document issued in the coming months , "we need to intensify operations against the global jihadist groups , and at the same time , the costs of 'blood and wealth' American cuts in our quest to achieve our goals for the fight against terrorism."
    The document says , " We will seek to avoid costly US military interventions and large - scale to achieve the objectives of the fight against terrorism and we will be looking increasingly to partners to share the responsibility to address terrorist groups."
    But it recognizes that terrorism "can not be a final defeat in any way."
    Michael Anton , spokesman for the National Security Council at the White House , "he said in the framework of its comprehensive approach, a new look to receive management of US national security strategy as a whole , including counter - terrorism mission , which is of particular importance because of the absence of such a strategy since 2011".
    Anton said that the operation aims to ensure "that the new strategy directed against serious terrorist threats to our country and our citizens and our interests abroad and our allies. Moreover, this new strategy will shed light on realistic and achievable goals and guidelines."
    The fight against Islamist extremism , a major issue during the Trump campaign for the presidential election in 2016 and describes the strategy document, which officials said was revised in the White House, the threat of militant Islamic groups Nprat stark.
    It was not clear how Trump will be able to achieve its objectives of avoiding military interventions in light of ongoing conflicts involving US forces in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Yemen and other areas.
