    [ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hussein al-Shirifi, of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend, denied the reports over assigning new leaders to the Sadr Trend after the decision of the head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr to quit the political and social issues.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The reports over assigning new leaders to lead the Sadr Trend are groundless,” noting that “There are some political sides that target the Sadr Trend and aim at awaken its public support.”[/ltr]
    [ltr]“Last Monday witnessed the visit of the public support to Sadr,” he concluded.[/ltr]
