US Secretary of State: We will intensify efforts to deter Iran in Syria and Yemen

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said on Saturday that Washington intends to intensify its efforts to deter Iran in Syria and Yemen, two countries Washington and Tehran supports the two parties warring.
He continued Tillerson at a joint news conference with his Saudi counterpart Adel al-Jubeir in Riyadh that he hoped Iranian President Hassan Rowhani exploits his second to end the ballistic missile program and end what he described as a terrorist network.
He added Tillerson said, "I will not comment on my expectations. But we hope that Rowhani, if he wants to change Iran's relationship with the rest of the world those are the decisions that need to be taken. "
Jubeir said that the Iranian presidential elections are an internal affair and called on Tehran to abide by United Nations resolutions on its ballistic missiles and stop supporting "terrorism".
Said Tillerson, who is accompanying President Donald Trump in his first foreign trip that US companies have signed agreements worth $ 350 billion with Saudi Arabia during the first day of the president in Riyadh.
