End the House of Representatives to discuss amending the election law and the vote on the two bills

House of Representatives voted at its fourteenth meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Osama Najafi, head of the House of Representatives and the presence of 242 deputies on Thursday, 08/22/2013, to draft a legal ratification of the Convention between Iraq and Kuwait on the organization of maritime navigation in the Khawr Abd Allah and forensic ended discussion of the proposed Act to amend the House of Representatives election law as well as the completion of the first reading of the proposed third amendment to the University Service Act.
At the beginning of the meeting initiated by any of the above-Hakim decided to Mr. Najafi postpone the vote on the candidates of the Federal service and sponsored by the Legal Committee in order to give legal committee adequate opportunity to study the curriculum vitae of the candidates and the balance to be submitted to a vote at a meeting next Monday to be preceded by a meeting between the leaders of the blocs and the relevant committee to reach a consensus on the vote on the names.
The Council voted on the draft law on ratification of the Convention between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the State of Kuwait on the organization of maritime navigation in the Khawr Abd Allah and submitted by the Committees on Foreign Relations and the legal order to regulate navigation in the Khawr Abd Allah through the formation of a joint committee to activate and implement the provisions of the Convention and the development of joint plans maritime safety in the Khawr Abd Allah and other navigational and environmental issues and strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries, and respect the right of traffic navigational headquarters in international conventions and agreements.
The Council resumed its discussion of the proposed law to amend the House of Representatives election law No. 16 for the year 2005 and the report of the Legal Committee as proposed MP Magda Tamimi, the allocation of seats to slide Faili Kurds to the election law, similar to the other components.
He said MP Hamid Buffy to the need for the law includes the government's call for the general census of the population before the elections.
He MP Bahaa al-Araji, the need to put more than Ray in the electoral law to allow the House to vote on an acceptable option calling for the development of a specific mechanism on counting and to have a vote in the military and civilian simultaneously.
