The start of the trial of the main planners of the failed coup in Turkey
BAGHDAD (Reuters) -
Kicked off on Monday in the Turkish capital Ankara, the main trial for 221 accused, of attempting a failed coup in the country mid-July.
The trial of the accused, "God opened Gulen," the leader of the parallel entity (in absentia) in the 17 criminal court in Ankara, members of the so-called "peace council at home."
The defendants also "Oqan Ozturk," the former commander of the Air Force and former member of the Shura Council, the military, and the military adviser of the Turkish President, Ali Yazici, senior officers.
The accused are being tried for "Anthecak Constitution" and "an attempt to cancel the parliament through force" and "attempting a coup against the government of the Republic of the use of force" and "directing a terrorist organization and belonging to it," as well as "the assassination of the country's president to try" and "attempted murder of two thousand and 735 people" , and other charges.
