Abbas confirms his commitment to Trump's two-state solution

renewed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Tuesday, its adherence to the principle of two - state solution, " the establishment of a Palestinian state alongside Israel , living in peace and security and good neighborliness."
Abbas said at a news conference, held in Bethlehem with his US counterpart, Donald Trump: "I must stress to you our adherence to the two-state solution and to live together with neighbors in peace and security and good neighborliness."
"The conflict is not between religions, respect for religions, an integral part of our beliefs," stressing that "the Israeli occupation, undermining the two-state solution," noting "readiness to cooperate with the US administration in order to make peace and a historic peace agreement."
"The achievement of peace horizon opens wide for the advancement of Palestinian building our organization and our economy on the basis of the rule of law, and spreading the culture of peace and non-violence and build bridges instead of fences inside our territory."
Abbas also condemned, during his speech, the terrorist attack that targeted the British city of Manchester.
