    UNITED NATIONS, Jan 25 (KUNA) -- Kuwait on Friday requested the Security Council to retain the issue between Iraq-Kuwait on its agenda for the year 2013.

    In a letter to the Council's current President Masoud Khan of Pakistan, Kuwaiti Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi said "I should like to notify you that the Government of the State of Kuwait wishes to see the following item retained on the list of matters of which the Security Council is seized: The situation between Iraq and Kuwait."

    Member states interested in retaining a particular item on the Council's agenda for the year have to notify the Council's president before the end of February.

    If those states fail to do so, the item drops automatically from the list of items the Council is seized of.

    Last week the United Arab Emirates requested that the issue of the three islands - Abu Mousa, little Tunb and greater Tunb - disputed with Iran, be also retained on the Council's agenda. (end)

    They will still be under a UN Charter (VI) where the UNSC will still conviene to ensure that all is on the up and up.

    I think the only issues to be retain on Iraq thru the UNSC regarding VII would be Kuwait. This is just a Alert Warning like a bankruptcy filling, in the case you have a agenda with Iraq you must file it by such and such date. In this case concerning a UNSC input issue, by February 2013.

    So I take this that Kuwait is just doing the paper trail as required and all else is other agenda's handled thru the UNSC. This also tells me that possibly, the Iraq/Kuwait issues will not be on the calender again in February. Going to shift my focus for that to April with hope of a emergency or added time prior.

    Funny I would have to say that we won't see this till April because our debt limit was pushed until April. Our country's debt limit or fiscal cliff always goes hand-in-hand with Chapter 7. Every single time we have had a meeting in our country pertaining to our debt ceiling or debt limit or what have you has always been the same exact week as the UN SC meeting on chapter 7 and the removal of it for Iraq

    duck. every time there had been a debt ceiling bill in the house or whatever. a debt date for when it must be handled, go back n look youll see the unsc has the vote on 7 or meeting about letting them out consecutively. me and ur good ol boy marko have been watching this for ever, even spartan ( lol )... we all know it and weve all watched it.. the debt limit deal is side by side with the unsc ch7 vote and or meeting pertaiing to them letting out... im not gonna post a bunch on it. i figures you would have seen the pattern in the duck prints
