, killing and wounding dozens of civilians, a car bomb blew up Tuesday morning inside the area of foreign embassies and the headquarters of the central government of the Afghan capital Kabul .
The media reported that the explosion led to the killing and wounding more than 70 civilians, and the injured were taken to hospitals.
Afghan police cordoned off the scene, and rescue operations are still ongoing.
Local sources said that the explosion occurred near the German and Indian embassies.
