Astronomy experts: Eid al-Fitr on Monday, 25 June
BAGHDAD, June 13 (Xinhua) - Experts in the field of meteorology and astronomical phenomena said that the first day of Eid al-Fitr will be on Sunday (June 25th) .
They said that "the Shawwal of Shawwal 1438 Hijri will be born at dawn on Saturday, 24 June 2017 at 31:05 minutes, the day of vision," pointing out that "astronomical estimates became closer to reality and very accurate to the scientific progress in this area, According to astronomical estimates, the last day of the month of Ramadan, 1438 will be on June 24, 2017, where the month of Ramadan this year will be 29 days, and the first day of Eid al-Fitr and the month of Shawwal 1438 will be on Sunday 25 June 2017 astronomical.
