Parliamentary economic reveal details of the UN special grant to the reconstruction of the liberated areas

A commission of economy and investment representative, on Friday, promises of the United Nations with the help of Iraq from the financial allocations for the reconstruction of areas affected by terrorism, stressing that the size of the budgets for the coming years is insufficient without international support.
According to a member of the Committee, Najiba Najib, in a press statement that "the federal budget is not enough to rebuild areas devastated by Daesh," noting that "the international community has a responsibility to help Iraq financially in the reconstruction."
She added that "the reconstruction process must be examined realistically, that includes mines and debris removal and the creation of cities to become livable."
He said, "Iraq has received a promise from the United Nations has a special grant from the budget, and the European countries as well as the United States and promised financial assistance for reconstruction," indicating that "Iraq has fought terrorism on behalf of the world, and our support for their duty."
She said, that "the areas exposed to damage as a result of the reception of displaced persons and their care is supposed to have a share of these funds," indicating that "the fight against corruption and spending money in the right place is the first challenge facing Iraq to complete the reconstruction process."
And damaged many Iraqi cities in the western and northern areas due to the war on Daesh since 2014, which reached its final stages in Mosul, while the old information indicates significant future moves to secure the border with Syria towards the post.
