Killing 62 people were killed and about 60 others injured Sunday as a result of violent forest fires in central Portugal, Leiria area, according to authorities.
The fire broke out on June 17 in the afternoon Pedrogaw Grande area in the center of the country, and surrounded a number of fire victims in their cars when they were going on a nearby road.
