British newspaper: Saudi Crown Prince is a reckless young man aspiring to the throne

    Date of release: 2017/6/25

    [Where - Continue]
Britain's weekly newspaper The Observer published a full page of Saudi Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who described it as "a reckless young man aspiring to the throne."
The writer of the article, Simon Tisdale, said that Mohammed bin Salman, a man of great ambition has received his reform ideas resonance in the Kingdom and make it a more open country, but says that his ambitions at the international level is worrisome across the world.
The Observer referred to examples of what he considered the achievements of the new crown prince during the past two years in which he was Crown Prince and Minister of Defense in addition to overseeing the project vision 2030 and presiding over the Supreme Council of Aramco oil.
Among these achievements was the dropping of the power of arrest from the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, and its attempt to reduce the economic dependence on oil by diversifying the sources of the economic activity of the Queen.
These and other achievements at home, says Tisdale, are met with recklessness and diplomatic and military frenzy.
The writer believes that the main motive of Mohammed bin Salman is to impose Saudi Arabia in the leadership of the Sunni Arab world and to meet the growing Iranian challenge in the region.
The writer adds that hostility to Iran is the common denominator between the Saudi crown prince and US President Donald Trump. Here is the source of concern, says Simon Tisdale, when the "seasoned crook" agrees with the "reckless young man".
