    A document leaked to WikiLeaks revealed details of a dialogue in January 2003, prior to the US invasion of Iraq, between Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and American diplomat Richard Haas.
    The document, though referring to the meeting with the then Minister of Defense and then Crown Prince Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, referred to the details of the important dialogue between Haas and Mohammed bin Zayed, who was joined by his international affairs adviser at the time, Otaiba, who later became known as an active ambassador to Washington, according to the Huffington Post.
