A spokeswoman for the US Department of Defense (Pentagon), said Defense Minister Jim Mattis agreed, to postpone the accession of recruits transgender American armed forces for a period of 6 months.
Said Dana White, a Pentagon spokeswoman, said in a statement seen by the "Sky Press," Mathis said before the recommendation to postpone the acceptance of sexually converts requests, until the first of January.
The Pentagon ended a ban on transgender service sexually openly in the US military in 2016, under former President Barack Obama's administration. It was expected to allow for converts begin sexually to join the army this year, provided stability on the preferred sex for a period of 18 months.
The postponement raised in the era of President Donald Trump's management concern advocates for the rights of transgender.
Said Stephen Peters of the Human Rights Campaign concerned with the rights of transgender people sexually in a statement: "We are disappointed by this delay, because thousands of well-trained conscripts ... proved that what matters is the ability to accomplish the task, not their sexual identity
