Russia is preparing to deploy additional aircraft in Syria
The Russian government lifted on Friday to Russian President Vladimir Putin, an agreement with Syria to deploy an air group of Russian troops on its territory, signed January 18, for approval protocol.
The document, published by the government on the gate of legal information, today: "After the approval of the agreement protocol between the Russian Federation and the Syrian Arab Republic, the deployment of aviation group of the Russian armed forces on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic of 26 August / August 2015 location in the city of Damascus on January 18, 2017, submitted to the President of the Russian Federation to put on the State Duma and the Federal Assembly for approval. "
Putin signed in December / December last year, a decision on signing the protocol with the facility agreement between the Russian Federation and Syria on the deployment of Russian aviation group in the Syrian Arab Republic.
