    witnessed south of the Incirlik base Turkey , the organization of a ceremony to mark the retirement of the dog "Jerry" dedicated to finding explosives and patrols to protect the equipment at the base, after 7 years of service.

    A statement posted on the official website of the base of the Turkish located Adana state, said the dog "Jerry" dedicated to finding explosives and patrols to protect the equipment at the base, finished, (on Tuesday , July 11, 2017) successfully period of service, which lasted seven years.


    The statement pointed out that the dog Jerry spent seven years his years in the leadership of the 39th Air Wing stationed at the US military base Incirlik service.

    During the ceremony , which was organized on the occasion of the retirement of "Jerry," she said coach Sergeant Angel Santiago, said Jerry served the US Air Force a lot of loyalty and honor.

    Santiago added that Jerry did a great services to the US Army since 2010, through his great tasks for the protection of existing in the Incirlik military equipment, worth an estimated $ 18 billion.

    For his part, he said Sergeant Brian Kane, the new owner of Jerry, he will do anything in order to provide a comfortable environment for a dog who gave great services to US forces.
