    Baghdad
    (NINA) – Foreign Undersecretary, Labeed Abbawi, discussed with the
    Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General
    for Iraq, George Bosten, the relations with Kuwait and the works of the
    UN Mission in Iraq.

    In a statement to the press on Sunday, Jan.
    27, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that in the meeting, Bosten
    presented a review of his recent visit to Kuwait, praising the positive
    bilateral relations and trust building between Iraq and Kuwait, which
    will work to put an end to the outstanding issues.

    One the other
    hand, Bosten affirmed the readiness of UN Mission's (UNAMI) to
    participate in the activities related to this year's event (Baghdad …
    the Capital of Arab Culture).

    They also discussed a number of
    issues related to the UN Mission's works and its good relations with the
    Foreign Ministry. / End.

    meeting abaui commends the positive atmosphere in the relations between
    Iraq and Kuwait

    relations Lapid abaui at the headquarters of the Ministry, on Sunday,
    with the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the
    United Nations in Iraq George Posten, the work of the mission and its
    good relationship with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

    presentation on his recent visit to the State of Kuwait and praised the
    positive atmosphere in bilateral relations and build trust between Iraq

    UNAMI mission readiness to participate in events related to (Baghdad
    Arabic cultural capital), to be held in Baghdad this year.

    The
    statement said: it has been discussed a number of matters concerning the
    work of the mission and its good relationship with the Ministry of
    Foreign Affairs, appreciating the continued support and cooperation.

    This
    meeting was attended by Ambassador Ahmad Bamarni, head of international
    cooperation organizations and the Knight thanked the head of Protocol
